The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee (NWC) approved an extension of the deadlines for the sale of candidates’ Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms and the submission of completed forms for the 2027 General Elections during its meeting on Thursday at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
The Party’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, told reporters following the NWC meeting that the sale of forms will now end at midnight on Monday, May 4, 2026, while the deadline for submitting completed forms and supporting documentation has been extended to midnight on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
Forms were previously to be sold from Saturday, April 25 to Saturday, May 2, 2026, with Monday, May 4, 2026, being the deadline for submitting completed forms and supporting documentation.
According to Hon. Meseko, the national holiday held countrywide on Friday made it necessary to extend the dates in order to accommodate the significant number of applicants.
