Dangote Refinery’s premium motor spirit, PMS is cheaper than imported petrol.
This is according to the latest gantry and ex-depot petrol prices released by Dangote Refinery and the Major Energies Marketers Association of Nigeria, MEMAN.
The latest price template showed that Dangote Refinery’s petrol stood at N1,165 per litre, while the price of imported petrol was N1,218.54 per litre.
This means that Dangote Refinery’s petrol price was N53.54, or 4.06 percent, lower than that of imported petrol.
The drop in petrol prices at Dangote Refinery and other depot owners has pushed pump prices downward over the last two weeks.
DAILY POST reports that Nigerian filling stations have adjusted their petrol prices to between N1,210 and N1,300 per litre in Abuja and its environs.
