The Kano State Commissioner of Police has publicly acknowledged Hajia Hajara Abdullahi for undertaking renovation and furnishing work at Gwale Police Division in Kano metropolis.

The police chief presented a letter of appreciation on Monday, recognising Abdullahi’s philanthropic contribution to the police facility.

Abdullahi has reportedly maintained a pattern of extending material and moral support to multiple police divisions across the state, aimed at improving operational conditions for officers and enhancing public-facing service provision.

The commissioner described her as a rare individual and a collaborative partner in policing efforts, characterising her commitment to community safety and welfare as exceptional and worthy of public recognition.

He invoked divine blessing upon her in gratitude for her investment in Kano State’s peace and security infrastructure.

The commissioner noted that such gestures directly strengthen crime prevention capacity, sustain officer morale and reinforce public confidence in law enforcement institutions.

The Special Adviser on Community Policing likewise commended Abdullahi’s action, presenting it as a model for citizen engagement in security enhancement.

She emphasised that such contributions demonstrate how residents can supplement governmental efforts toward community protection, subsequently calling upon other individuals, commercial enterprises and community leaders to replicate Abdullahi’s example.

She underscored that enduring security outcomes require collaborative engagement spanning government, security organisations and community stakeholders.
