Ogun FRSC decorates 57 officers, tasks them on discipline, professionalism

The Ogun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, on Thursday, decorated 57 officers following their promotion to higher ranks, charging them to see the elevation as both a reward for past performance and a greater responsibility to the Corps and the motoring public.

The newly promoted officers comprise 5 Assistant Corps Commanders, 27 Chief Route Commanders, 16 Superintendent Route Commanders, 6 Route Commanders and 1 Deputy Route Commander.

Among the officers promoted and decorated is the Ogun State Sector Public Relations Officer (PRO), Afolabi Odunsi, who was promoted to the rank of Chief Route Commander, CRC.

The Sector Commander, Corps Commander Oludare Ogunjobi, stated that the elevation underscores the recognition of commitment and professionalism in public communication and stakeholder engagement.

Ogunjobi congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged them to remain disciplined, professional and committed to the Corps’ mandate of reducing road traffic crashes and saving lives on Nigerian roads.

The Sector Commander also encouraged the promoted officers to justify the confidence reposed in them by demonstrating leadership, integrity and dedication in the discharge of their duties.
