Nigerian fashion designer and content creator Veekee James has reacted to the criticisms surrounding her husband’s public appearance with her.
The media personality defended her marriage against an online troll who questioned Femi’s presence with his wife in events and public spaces. She stressed that she has no intention of keeping her husband away from her, insisting that wherever she goes, he is welcome to be by her side.
The user, identified online as Lauren, made a comment after seeing Femi and Veekee at Peller and Jarvis’ wedding.
“Does this man have a life of his own? Must he follow you everywhere?? Did you see your friend’s husband there? You don turn am to handbag?,” she wrote.
Veekee however, noted that she enjoys doing life together with her husband, laying negative comments about her marriage to rest.
”Yes my husband does not have a life of his own. His life is my life. My life is his life. He is me and I am Him. Together we are like what? Padlock and key. When you marry your own, separate him. Remove him from your life and keep him somewhere else. But you see this my own? He is me and I am him. You will see me him everywhere…” she fired back.
