Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has hinted at a new album, revealing that he is having fun making the project.
The Grammy Award-winning artiste said this via a post on his X handle.
“Having so much fun making this next one! Can’t wait to share #album,” he wrote.
His tweet quickly stirred excitement among fans with some asking him for more details about the project. Wizkid, however, did not disclose the title or release date of the album.
“E go drop, make una stop dey fight,” he responded.
The new project follows Morayo, Wizkid’s sixth studio album released in November 2024. Morayo, which was dedicated to his late mother, Jane Balogun, featured collaborations with several artistes, including Brent Faiyaz, Asake, Jazmine Sullivan, Tiakola and Anaïs Cardot.
