The Africa Real Estate Magazine & Awards 2026 is set to take place on December 13, 2026, at the Lekki Coliseum Centre in Lagos, bringing together key stakeholders and professionals from across Africa’s real estate and built environment sectors.
The event is expected to provide a platform for industry leaders, investors, developers and professionals to examine emerging trends and developments shaping Africa’s property market.
Discussions at the event are expected to cover key areas including real estate, construction, architecture, infrastructure, proptech, investment, affordable housing and sustainable development.
The organisers also said the awards component will recognise individuals, companies and projects considered to have made notable contributions to the development and transformation of Africa’s real estate and built environment sectors.
Speaking on the planned event, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe said the Lagos edition would go beyond an awards ceremony by creating an avenue for meaningful conversations around the opportunities and challenges facing Africa’s property industry.

He explained that the choice of Lagos as the host city was informed by the city’s prominent position in Africa’s real estate, investment and urban development landscape.
“Lagos is the right setting because it is one of Africa’s most active centres for real estate, investment and urban development. Holding the event here gives us an opportunity to bring different markets and perspectives together while putting Africa’s property story in focus,” he added.
According to the organisers, the event is expected to attract developers, investors, architects, construction professionals, financial institutions, technology companies and other stakeholders across the built environment value chain.
The accompanying Africa Real Estate Magazine is also expected to examine major trends, opportunities and challenges influencing the sector, providing additional focus on the evolving nature of Africa’s property market.
