A Lagos State High Court has restrained Nollywood actress Elizabeth Lawal, popularly known as Lizzy Anjorin, from publishing, circulating or broadcasting photographs of the one-year-old son of actress Priscilla Ojo and her Tanzanian singer husband, Juma Jux.
The interim order was granted ex parte on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, by Justice Yetunde Adesanya of the Lagos State High Court, sitting at the Lagos Judicial Division, in Suit No. LD/ADR/6646/2026.
The suit was filed by Priscilla Ojo, identified in the court document as Mrs Priscilla Ajoke Ojo Mkambala; her husband, Juma Mussa Mkambala; and their son, Master Rakeem Mkambala, against Anjorin.
Priscilla shared a certified true copy of the court order on her Instagram page on Friday.
In the order, the court restrained Anjorin, whether acting personally or through her agents, representatives, employees or anyone acting under her authority, from “publishing, posting, circulating, uploading and broadcasting” photographs of the child on her social media platforms.
The platforms specifically mentioned in the order include Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok.
The court order read in part, “An Order of this Honourable Court restraining the Respondent either by its agents, privies, representatives, employees, officers or any other person or group of persons howsoever described and/or under the Respondent’s authority from publishing, posting, circulating, uploading and broadcasting the 3rd Applicant’s pictures on the Respondent’s social media pages namely on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Tiktok… pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice in this suit.”
The court also listed several social media accounts allegedly linked to Anjorin, including @lizzyanjorin_originallawal, @lizzyanjorin_original, @lizzyanjorin_legal_mrslawal and @yeyemesho_luxuryfabric1, as well as a Facebook page identified as Lizzyanjorin2.
In a separate part of the order, the court restrained Anjorin from publishing, posting or broadcasting “editorials” concerning the applicants on the specified social media platforms pending the hearing and determination of the substantive Motion on Notice.
The court ordered that Anjorin and anyone acting under her authority “cease and desist broadcasting, publishing and posting editorials on the Applicants” through the listed social media platforms.
The order was made ex parte, meaning the application was considered without the respondent being present or heard at that stage. It is an interim measure pending further proceedings in the suit and does not represent a final determination of the substantive case.
The court also directed that the case file be returned to the Registry of the High Court of Lagos State for reassignment to the appropriate division.
The order was signed and sealed by the Legal Registrar, Omokhudu-Omahoin Onivenu, and issued under the hand of the court on September 2, 2026.
The development is the latest chapter in a long-running public dispute involving Anjorin and members of Priscilla’s family, including her mother, actress Iyabo Ojo.
The dispute has played out publicly on social media over the past two years and has previously included a ₦1bn defamation suit filed by Iyabo Ojo against Anjorin.
In recent public comments, Anjorin has also made claims questioning the parentage of Priscilla’s son. PUNCH Online could not independently verify the claims, and they are not contained in the court order reviewed for this report.
Rakeem, whose full name is Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, was born in Canada in August 2025.
As of the time of filing this report, Anjorin had not publicly commented on the latest court order.
