The long-awaited all-British heavyweight fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury has been scheduled to take place at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on December 11.
The main event will be held in the early hours of Saturday in the UK.
Organisers of the fight are considering a late start because of the audiences in the United States.
BBC Sport reports that there will be a press conference on September 30, where Joshua and Fury will come face-to-face, as the build-up begins to one of the most anticipated fights in British boxing history.
The event is being promoted as a collaboration between Saudi boxing power broker, Turki Alalshikh’s The Ring and UFC chief Dana White.
“Two of the best heavyweights of this generation, finally in the ring together,” Alalshikh said.
“This will be one of the biggest fights in boxing history. I am very happy to make this fight happen for the fans.”
