Nigerian disc jockey and producer, Michael Adeyinka, popularly known as DJ Tunez, has won the best DJ Africa award at AFRIMMA 2026.

He shared the news on his official Instagram page.

“Ogbafia number 1. God bless @afrimma & everyone that voted!. Best DJ Africa & the world!,” he wrote.

DJ Tunez is known for his association with Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, and his work with several leading African artistes.He has also released and produced music with artistes including Wizkid, Wande Coal, Burna Boy, Omah Lay and other prominent names in the African music industry.

DJ Tunez’s award further highlights the growing recognition of Nigerian DJs and producers in the global African music industry.
