Nigeria’s First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu will visit Anambra State on Thursday to launch a national food bank programme for the South-East region.
The Anambra State Government said the visit shows that President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda is reaching all states and zones across the country.
The First Lady will also commission an ICT Centre at Federal Polytechnic Oko, a modern facility meant to help South-East students learn software development, data analysis, digital marketing and remote work skills.
The National Community Food Bank Programme is designed to help vulnerable groups including widows, the elderly, people with disabilities, nursing mothers and children.
It will provide food items and nutrition education to these groups.
The state government said this visit demonstrates partnership between the federal government and states and shows that nobody is being left out of development efforts.
