An organisation, Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), has pledged to help ease the hardship of citizens in Anambra State and across the Southeast.
The group focuses on supporting vulnerable and needy Nigerians, especially widows and struggling people in society.
According to the founder Prince Morgan Ndubuisi, the organisation was created because government help alone is not enough.
The foundation offers help with healthcare, money for small businesses, job finding, legal assistance and general welfare.
It is not linked to any government or political party, the founder stressed. Instead, it exists purely to serve people.
Members get immediate healthcare once they sign up and report a health need.
After six months of membership, the organisation covers all medical expenses.
Members also get financial help for small businesses and entrepreneurs, skills training and job connections.
They receive free legal help if they face exploitation or legal trouble.
Two years into membership, if a member’s child completes a trade apprenticeship, the foundation adds 10 million naira to whatever the apprentice master provides.
The first phase started immediately with free healthcare for widows, followed by financial support and legal help.
Members can submit forms listing other pressing needs they have.
The founder told people that the family is there to help them and encouraged anyone with needs to reach out.
The initiative will work independently from government and politics, focusing on dignity and real support.
The programme coordinator said people must register as members to access benefits.
He noted that in the current difficult economy, getting free healthcare and education help is valuable.
Local government coordinators have been tasked with going back to their areas, meeting with people and appointing ward coordinators to register members in every ward.
