The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on Wednesday donated three complete sets of dialysis machines to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).
The equipment, Nefro Renal Care Solution, were donated on behalf of ‘His Love Foundation’ (HLF), a charity arm of RCCG’s official global Christian Social Responsibility.
They were delivered to the Hospital on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
Speaking while presenting the equipment, Pastor Bode Olojede, disclosed that the donation is from Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye.
He added that ‘His Love Foundation’ as a charity arm of the RCCG is committed to addressing hunger, health, education, rehabilitation, prison ministry, and social enterprise.
“The RCCG General Overseer and his wife had been supporting national intervention programs, including building intensive care units and numerous Enoch and Folu Adeboye dialysis centres across various teaching hospitals and general medical centres in the country,” he said.
The Chief Medical Director of the Hospital, Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu, commended Pastor Adeboye for the donation.
She noted that the gesture will significantly complement government investments in healthcare.
On his part, the Federal Commissioner representing Edo State on the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Victor Edoror, commended the donors for the equipment and for supporting individuals with renal challenges.
Edoror, a former Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA), who joined the CMD to receive the medical equipment, emphasized that the government cannot tackle these challenges alone.
He urged other General Overseers across the country to emulate the philanthropic example.
He expressed profound gratitude to Pastor Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye, for their compassionate remembrance of vulnerable patients.
