President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has attacked the NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, over his comments that Nigeria would be much richer if leaders kept public funds in banks.
Reacting in a post on X, Onanuga accused Obi of saying what he does not practise, bringing up the Panama Papers leak, which he linked to alleged offshore assets and business holdings associated with Obi during his time as Anambra State governor.
“Peter Obi just likes saying what he doesn’t practise. Remember the Panama papers?” Onanuga wrote.
He went on to mock Obi as “Saint Peter,” accusing him of “pontificating” to his followers.
