Soldiers and civilian volunteers have arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of links to a t3rrorist group in Borno State.
Bubba Hamadu was picked up on Monday afternoon in Mairari town by troops from a military base and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force.
During questioning, security personnel found a photograph on his phone showing him standing with unidentified men holding AK-47 rifles.
This raised suspicion that he might be connected to ISWAP elements operating in the area.
Authorities also recovered a mobile phone, an umbrella, an arrow, prayer beads, a mirror and eye drops from him.
He was then transferred to the custody of Operation HADIN KAI headquarters for further investigation and necessary action.
