Nigerian comedian and skit maker Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie, popularly known as Brain Jotter has spoken on the topic of trust and rise in dishonesty in Nigeria.

The content creator, while speaking during an interview, explained that people now have to be extremely careful when paying for products and services because of widespread deception.

“The lack of trust in Nigeria is alarming. You send your driver ₦5,000 for fuel, but he’s buying ₦3,500. If you ask him for a receipt, you’ll get the receipt. Men dey run receipt. I wanted to buy a wig for my mama. I bought this wig, ₦800 and something thousand. And I don’t know about wigs. Then she brought the wig and shampoo, and more. Overpriced nonsense everywhere,” he stated.
