Omisore revealed that even though he is no longer holding on to it, the hurt from his divorce remains with him.
Nollywood actor Kunle Omisore has spoken on his failed marriage, revealing that he misses having a wife and being married.
The actor, while speaking during an interview with African A-List, described divorce as a painful experience that only God can heal.
Omisore revealed that even though he is no longer holding on to it, the hurt from his divorce remains with him.
“It’s difficult; it’s only God who can heal a divorcee. I am not holding on to the hurt; it’s just going to be a part of you. You cannot live out of it. You’ll feel lonely in the house; it’s not like you don’t have a woman who can satisfy you, but that is different from having a wife,” he stated.
The actor also opened up on his fatherhood journey and experience, noting that despite his marital setback, he does not consider his marriage a failure because it produced ‘glorious children.’
“There are times when you know that when you’re troubled, someone would calm you down. Instead, I will get home, I will park outside for a while, and wind down, so those children wouldn’t know something is wrong with me. I didn’t suffer a failed marriage because glorious children came from it,” he continued. In the next ten years, I want to go back to Europe, live a quiet life and raise my children in the way of the Lord,” he added.
