The former Vice-President reflected on the hardship facing families across the country, pointing to soaring costs of food, transport, education and healthcare as signs of deeper economic strain.
He said those seeking to build a better nation must put the welfare and dignity of ordinary people at the centre of their work.
Atiku emphasised that Nigerians deserve an economy where hard work pays off, where opportunity exists, and where families can live without constant anxiety about survival.
He warned that building such a country would take sustained effort and commitment from all involved in public life.
He framed the challenge as urgent and collective, calling for those in positions of influence to ease the burden on struggling households and restore confidence in the nation’s future.
His message centred on the idea that economic improvement and affordability must become core priorities if Nigeria is to function properly for its people again.
