Suspected b@ndits have @bducted the younger brother of a Kaduna lawmaker and k!lled three personnel of the Kaduna State Vigilance Service in Kubau Local Government Area.
The @bduction happened just hours after the three security personnel were sh0t d£ad.
Yunusa Ibrahim, the vigilance service’s public relations officer, confirmed the incidents.
The @bducted person is Sanusi, younger brother of Alhaji Shehu Pambegua, who represents Kubau Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly.
Sanusi was taken from his home around 10 p.m. on Monday when suspected b@ndits arrived in a Sharon vehicle and took him away.
The three personnel who were k!lled are Dallami Dantani, the Second-in-Command of vigilance services in Kubau, Abdullahi Hamisu and Zakariyya Musa.
They d!ed during an @tt@ck while conducting routine security checks.
According to Yunusa Ibrahim, the personnel tried to stop a red Volkswagen Golf but the driver refused to halt.
They pursued the vehicle in an official patrol van to check who was inside and why they were moving, but the suspects opened fire. Dallami Dantani was k!lled during the pursuit.
The suspects then drove back towards the vigilance service office where they fatally sh0t Abdullahi Hamisu and Zakariyya Musa before escaping towards Zaria.
CP Ali Audu, the retired Kaduna State Commander of the vigilance service, expressed sadness over the deaths, describing it as a painful loss.
CP Ali Audu praised the three personnel for their bravery and commitment to their work and promised their families that their sacrifices would not be forgotten and that support would continue during this difficult time.
CP Ali Audu said security personnel have increased patrols across Pambegua and surrounding communities and are working to find Sanusi and catch those responsible.
CP Ali Audu urged vigilance service personnel to stay alert and work more closely with other security agencies to protect lives and property across Kaduna State, especially in areas at risk.
