Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has warned married men against becoming dependent on their wives for money, saying a man who relies on his wife to feed him could face insults and emotional pain.
Pete Edochie shared the advice during an interview on Isbae U’s show Curiosity Made Me Ask, reflecting on his 57 years of marriage.
Pete Edochie said men should not take their role as providers lightly.
He spoke from experience, noting he has been married for almost 60 years.
Pete Edochie said if a man’s circumstances change and his wife has to feed him for even two or three days, he would want to take poison because of the kind of insults that would come his way.
