The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested popular online content creator Ukasha Yahaya, widely known as UK International, over videos allegedly showing him hugging, carrying, and bathing with women.

The board’s Deputy Commander General, Mujahid Aminuddeen, confirmed the arrest on Thursday, explaining that Ukasha was apprehended after intelligence revealed he had entered Kano.

Aminuddeen stated that the 27-year-old, who hails from Gusau, Zamfara State, and resides in Abuja, remains in custody while investigations continue.

During questioning, Ukasha admitted he could not remember the exact number of videos he had recorded with women.

He noted that several of the clips had gathered between one and three million views.

The controversial posts reportedly showed him dancing, hugging, carrying, swimming, and bathing alongside different women.

When asked how he met the women featured in his clips, Ukasha explained that they reached out to him directly due to his status as a popular digital creator.

He also revealed that his mother and close relatives had repeatedly warned him to stop making that kind of content, adding that he was already planning to quit as he prepared for marriage.

The online star apologized for his actions and promised not to post such material again.

His main social media account, UK INTERNATIONAL, boasts over 262,000 followers and 2.4 million total likes.

Aminuddeen confirmed that Ukasha will be charged to court once the investigation wraps up, while cautioning young people against using online platforms for activities that go against religious and moral values.
