The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, is set to honour Moses Simon if the winger makes his 100th appearance for the Super Eagles against Madagascar on Friday.
The match is a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture and will be played in Nigeria.
Simon made his Super Eagles debut in March 2015 during an international friendly against Uganda.
The winger came on as a substitute for Anthony Ujah in the 59th minute of the match.
The 31 year old has since become an important member of the national team, making 99 appearances for the three time African champions.
Simon has played 64 competitive matches for Nigeria and featured in 35 international friendlies.
He has also represented the Super Eagles at major tournaments, with 23 appearances at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The Paris FC player has also featured in 22 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches for Nigeria.
Simon has scored 11 goals in his 99 appearances for the national team.
A further appearance against Madagascar would take him to 100 caps for the Super Eagles, placing him among the players who have reached the landmark for Nigeria.
The NFF is expected to recognise the milestone if Simon features in Friday’s AFCON qualifying encounter.
