Adamawa urges 1,428 NYSC members to embrace entrepreneurship

The Adamawa State Government has advised members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) posted to the state to use their service year to groom themselves to become entrepreneurs in their chosen fields.

The state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Fatauta, who represented Governor Ahmadu Fintiri in declaring open the Batch ‘C’ Stream 1 orientation course for the 1,428 corps members deployed to the state, said many people in the past arrived as corps members and ended their service as entrepreneurs and employers of labour.

“Your one-year service may appear short, but the impact you make during this period can be far-reaching and, in some cases, last for generations,” Kaletapwa said, encouraging the corps members to approach their Primary Place of Assignment and Community Development Service projects with all seriousness.

She congratulated the corps members and urged them to embrace the noble values of patriotism, commitment, and service to humanity.
