CDCFIB gives fresh update on paramilitary services recruitment exercise

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board, CDCFIB, has given a fresh update on its ongoing recruitment exercise.

In a statement by its Secretary, Maj-Gen AM Jibril, rtd, on Friday, the Board said the recruitment exercise for Nigeria’s four paramilitary services will be completed within the next four weeks.

The announcement came against the backdrop of the growing anticipation among applicants waiting for the conclusion of the recruitment process.

The Board said it is aware of the ‘tremendous amount of anticipation’ surrounding the exercise, stressing that the large number of applications received nationwide had placed a responsibility on the board to ensure a fair and transparent selection process.

CDCFIB explained that the recruitment process had reached its final stages but would not be rushed at the expense of due process.

The Board further stated that the final stages of the recruitment exercise will be completed within four weeks, adding that successful candidates would be notified through the official recruitment platform once the process is concluded.

“It is the intention of the CDCFIB not to rush the entire recruitment process, but to bring it to completion without any prejudice to the principles of justice, merit, federal character, due process, and the operational requirements of the four services.

“Once this process is completed, candidates will be informed via the recruitment platform at the following web address: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng,” the statement read in part.
