Nigerian music executive and record producer Michael Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has declared that Afrobeats star, Sarah Aderibigbe, known as Ayra Starr, has changed his life.
The Mavin boss said this via his official X handle, while reacting to a comment about Ayra’s career.
Don Jazzy expressed his pride in the artist’s growth, stating that he is forever grateful for the day he discovered her via a freestyle video.
“She has most definitely changed my own life too. I bless the day I was shown her Instagram freestyle o. And she has been nothing but a dream, Starrgirl,” he wrote.
The Mavins boss had discovered Ayra Starr through her viral freestyles on social media before signing her to his record label. She has since then dropped three successful albums with her most recent project, Starrgirl, debuting at the third spot on UK’s Spotify chart.
