Nigerian media mogul and CEO, Mo Abudu, has declared that she will not accept being referred to by her first name by younger people.
While speaking during a conversation with Toke Makinwa on Toke Moments, Abudu declared that she is very traditional. noting that her upbringing shaped her views about respect and how younger people should address their elders.
She also opened up on her thoughts on being labelled in the entertainment industry as a shark, stressing that such label attached to her would not exist of she were a man.
“I am very traditional. I was brought up in Ondo by my grandmother. You can’t be calling me by my first name anyhow. I won’t take it!. If I was a man, they wouldn’t say I was a shark. They’re going to say she’s an astute businesswoman,” she noted.
