Madagascar’s national team, the Barea, have arrived in Uyo ahead of their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
The 28-man delegation, made up of players and officials, arrived at Victor Attah International Airport at about 2:05 p.m. on Monday.
The team completed immigration procedures before heading to their hotel to rest and begin preparations for the important match.
More members of the Madagascar squad are expected to arrive in Uyo on Tuesday as the team continues its preparations.
Madagascar will face Nigeria in their Matchday 1 fixture at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Friday.
