Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Eno has praised celebrity chef Hilda Baci for her bold achievements and record-breaking feats that have brought credit to the state.
Eno met with the Guinness World Record holder Wednesday at the Government House in Uyo.
The governor said Baci’s accomplishments prove that hard work and bravery can help people overcome obstacles and reach extraordinary heights.
He commended her for making the state proud through her cooking exploits and encouraged her to continue representing Akwa Ibom on the world stage.
Baci, who is from the state, returned the compliments and praised Eno’s leadership and vision.
She described Akwa Ibom as strikingly beautiful and highlighted the impressive infrastructure development she has witnessed under his administration.
She was particularly impressed by the modern facilities at Victor Attah International Airport, calling them world-class and first-rate.
The celebrity chef celebrated the warmth and work ethic of Akwa Ibom people and said she would work with stakeholders to support the state’s growth.
She also urged tourists and investors to visit the state to tap into its environmental, recreational and hospitality opportunities while calling on residents to continue promoting love, unity and peace as a foundation for lasting development.
