Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Araga, has been evicted from the reality TV show.
Araga’s eviction was announced during Sunday night’s live eviction show, bringing his journey in the “Show Ya Sef” house to an end.
The fashion model was among the 14 housemates put up for possible eviction in the seventh week of the competition. The others were Abi, Aikou, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Chimsom Chuka, Flora, Nomy, Oyin, Ricky, Temi Nkem, Sheba and Yusuf.
The Week 7 nomination process came with a twist. Big Brother required housemates to search for 14 red envelopes hidden around the house. While one contained immunity, others carried a “GOTCHA” message. Araga was among those who found the latter, leaving him vulnerable to the public vote.
His exit marks another dramatic turn in a BBNaija journey that had kept viewers talking from the early weeks of the show.
Araga, who was introduced as a confident and magnetic fashion model, became particularly prominent through his relationship with fellow housemate Goddessa. The pair shared the first on-screen kiss of the season, sparking intense reactions among viewers and on social media.
Their relationship, however, later became turbulent, with the two having a series of disagreements. Goddessa was eventually evicted in Week Five, with Africa Magic noting her conversations with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu about her relationship with Araga after her exit.
Following Goddessa’s departure, Araga remained in the competition and continued to feature prominently in the house. As recently as September 10, reports showed him placing flowers on Goddessa’s photo wall, a moment that attracted attention from viewers.
Araga now becomes the latest housemate to leave the ₦160 million BBNaija Season 11 race as the competition enters another crucial stage.
His eviction is also expected to trigger fresh reactions among fans, particularly those who followed his much-discussed relationship with Goddessa and his journey through the “Show Ya Sef” house.
