Saudia Airlines will soon start flying directly between Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja and King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

The Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development announced that the airline will run weekly direct flights, making Abuja its third destination in Nigeria alongside Lagos and Kano.

The new route will make travel much easier for business travelers, tourists, and religious pilgrims going for Hajj and Umrah.

By flying straight from Abuja, passengers will no longer need to deal with long layovers in other airports.

Airport officials in Abuja confirmed that all arrangements for ground handling, customs, and immigration are ready for the new flights.

Saudia Airlines plans to use modern, wide-body planes for the route and will share flight schedules and ticket prices in the coming days.
