Nigerian recording artist Specdo has confirmed plans to release his comeback single, “Specdo DaBoy,” in September 2026 as he officially resumes his music career.
Specdo, whose real name is AJAYI Solomon, is returning to active music after a period without releasing a new single, EP or album.
The September record will serve as the first release from his new musical chapter and is expected to lead into a full album scheduled for November.
The singer has described the forthcoming release as an important part of a wider rebranding of his career.
The campaign will combine new music, refreshed visuals, media appearances and a renewed digital presence as he reconnects with listeners.
“Specdo DaBoy” is expected to introduce the sound and personality behind the artist’s next phase before additional material from the November project is unveiled.
The singer has spent the period away from active releases expanding his interests in media and entertainment while continuing to develop plans for his return to recording.
His comeback is being coordinated under TMY Empire, with Zentharon Worldwide handling the distribution of the forthcoming music.
Specdo is also expected to undertake a series of media engagements as part of the rollout.
The September release will mark his first major step back into the Nigerian music scene and begin a campaign expected to continue through the final quarter of 2026.
Details surrounding the production credits and possible collaborations connected to “Specdo DaBoy” are expected to be announced ahead of the release.
Specdo’s November album will follow approximately two months later, completing the first major phase of the singer’s return.
The artist says the upcoming releases will represent a more focused version of his music and creative direction.
With “Specdo DaBoy,” Specdo is looking to formally reintroduce himself to the industry while beginning what he describes as the next chapter of his journey.
