Nigerian music superstar Burna Boy and global entertainment figure DJ Khaled have been announced as ambassadors for SportyBet’s first Crash Games World Championship.
The company announced the tournament on September 16, saying the global competition will bring together players from SportyBet markets across six Crash Games.
Other personalities linked to the championship include Ivorian footballer Yan Diomande and South African rugby and football stars Cheslin Kolbe and Benni McCarthy.
Each ambassador will be connected to one of the games in the championship, while a sixth ambassador is expected to be announced later.
For Nigerian players, Burna Boys involvement gives a local connection to the international competition featuring participants from different markets.
DJ Khaled, who is SportyBet’s Global Ambassador, said he is ready for the event.
He said SportyBet is bringing players from around the world together for something big, and he is coming to compete at the highest level.
He called it six games, serious energy and one World Championship.
Players will compete for the title of CGWC World Champion, with special and limited edition prizes available to those who qualify.
The tournament will combine SportyBets Crash Games with its international ambassadors, and player results will feed into a global leaderboard during the championship.
More details on the competition including the sixth ambassador, prizes and how to join are expected to be announced before the tournament starts.
DJ Khaled also said there are surprises coming and another big name to reveal.
He said when the championship begins, everyone should be ready and he is bringing the energy.
